NAHC and the OHTN are pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships to conference attendees from the United States and Canada. Successful applicants will receive assistance with their registration, travel and hotel costs.
Applicants from the United States
The National AIDS Housing Coalition will be providing a limited number of Summit Scholarships to HIV+ consumers of HIV housing and/or services who have a demonstrated interest in HIV/AIDS advocacy. Eligible scholarship recipients will:
- Provide a brief statement of interest
- Have a commitment to ending HIV/AIDS in their community
- Be able to commit to attend the entire Summit
Scholarship applications are due by July 15, 2015 and successful applicants will be notified by August 15, 2015.
Applicants from Canada
The OHTN will provide a limited number of CAHR and CIHR-sponsored scholarships to Canadian attendees who have a demonstrated interest in HIV research and advocacy. In order to be eligible to apply for scholarship funding, you must be one of the following:
- A person living with HIV
- A community-based researcher, or peer researcher
- An HIV service provider
Canadian scholarship applications will be available through the registration site starting June 25. After you register, log back in with your username and password to update your scholarship application.
Please note that the deadline for Canadian scholarship applications has changed. They are now due by Friday, July 17, 2015 and successful applicants will be notified by August 15, 2015.
