Please join other researchers, policy makers, service providers and people living with HIV/AIDS for an international convening to share and discuss
research findings and policy initiatives that focus on the role of poverty, housing status and other social determinants of HIV prevention and care outcomes.
Building upon six North American Housing & HIV/AIDS Research Summit meetings and successful International AIDS Conference (IAC) satellite meetings in Mexico
and Vienna, the 2012 Leadership Summit on Housing will bring together leaders from every continent for a full-day IAC pre-conference.
Participants will consider the global HIV prevention and treatment challenges presented by housing instability in all its forms, and discuss the role of
housing interventions as a response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
We are extremely pleased that Michel Sidibé, Executive Director of UNAIDS and a long-time leader the global fight to end AIDS,
will open the Summit with a keynote address.
The AIDS 2012 Leadership Summit on Housing is set for July 21, 2012, 9am to 6pm Preston Auditorium, World Bank Main Complex,
1818 H Street NW, Washington, DC.
